Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet your company representative early in the morning for your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. En route, stop at the Equator for refreshments and explore the local crafts. Continue your drive to Bwindi, a lush rainforest famous for mountain gorillas and abundant wildlife. Lunch will be served along the way, and you’ll arrive in the evening. Dinner will be served at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, prepare for an exciting day of gorilla tracking. You’ll be transferred to the park’s headquarters for a briefing before setting out with the rangers. Expect a challenging hike through the dense forest to find the mountain gorillas. Once you encounter the gorillas, enjoy an unforgettable hour observing their interactions. If time permits, you can take a community walk to learn about the Batwa culture. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems. Enter through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions, and, if lucky, you may spot them. Continue to the northern part of the park and check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start the day with an early game drive along the Kasenyi tracks, searching for wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and kobs. The park is home to over 606 bird species, so birdwatching is also rewarding. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This two-hour cruise offers a fantastic opportunity to observe animals and birds up close, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterfowl. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Kampala

Enjoy an early breakfast and watch the sun rise over the park. Afterward, check out and begin the journey back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch en route. On arrival in Kampala, the safari concludes.
