Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel, you’ll be greeted by your professional driver-guide, who will brief you about the safari. Then, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Along the way, enjoy the scenic beauty of Uganda’s countryside.
After arriving in Bwindi, check in at your lodge and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
Enjoy an early breakfast and pack your lunch, as you head to the park’s information center for a briefing on the rules and guidelines for gorilla tracking. After the briefing, your ranger guide will lead you into the dense jungle in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. You’ll have one hour to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat, taking in their behavior and family dynamics while respecting their space.
After your thrilling experience, return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy a well-deserved dinner. Spend the night in the comfort of your lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, often referred to as the “Medley of Wonders” due to its diverse ecosystems, wildlife, and stunning landscapes. During the journey, you may spot wildlife, including the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. Upon arrival at the park, check in to your lodge for lunch, and then enjoy a relaxing evening at leisure.

Day 4: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a warm cup of coffee and an early game drive in the Kasenyi area, renowned for its large concentrations of wildlife. On the drive, look out for lions, cape buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, hyenas, mongoose, and possibly a leopard. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting a variety of species along the way.
After a hearty breakfast, head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The boat ride offers an excellent opportunity to view wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species at close range. Afterward, return to your lodge for a leisurely dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth NP to Kibale National Park
Following breakfast, begin your drive to Kibale National Park, known for its chimpanzee trekking and scenic crater lakes. Stop in the town of Fort Portal for lunch and a cultural tour of Toro Kingdom, learning about the region’s rich history and traditions. Afterward, continue to Kibale National Park, check into your lodge, and enjoy dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, head to the Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Guided by park rangers, you will embark on an exciting trek through the forest to locate chimpanzees. Along the way, you’ll also encounter other primates like L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and red-tailed monkeys. After observing the chimps for one hour, return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can take a Bigodi Swamp walk, a great place for spotting additional wildlife and bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Destination: Kibale National Park
Day 7: Kibale National Park to Kampala
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin the drive back to Kampala. En route, you’ll stop for lunch before continuing to the capital city. You’ll arrive in the afternoon, with time for a short tour or to head directly to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home.
