Itinerary

Day 1: Masaka – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls.

An early rise, as we make our way to Murchison. Your trip starts at 08:00am with departure from Masaka. Please be ready at your pick up location at 07:30am. Travelling through the little villages and small towns. A stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before proceeding to the park. Enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot. Well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Check in and overnight at the lodge. Park side lodge

Day 2: Game Drive- Launch Trip.

Take a northern section game drive tour in search of the many amazing animals found inside the park, including the Big Four. The largest game park in Uganda, Murchison falls National Park is home to over 600 bird species, 76 mammal species, Our wildlife experience begins as soon as we enter the park, heading into prime game viewing areas where we hope to catch a glimpse of some of animals such as, elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs and lions, the leopards plus a variety of bird species. After a lunch, enjoy a boat trip to the bottom of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species within the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles, bathing buffalo, and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have an opportunity to take thousands of pictures therefore be sure to bring your camera. Disembark from the boat and have the opportunity to hike to the top of Murchison Falls. The hike is a strenuous one, but the thrill on reaching the top is unforgettable. Miss it only if you must. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation. Accommodation: Lodge

Day 3: Game Drive –Transfer to Kampala.

Today wake up early for breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through Uganda’s largest and oldest National Park as you exit. Murchison Falls National Park is home to mammals, bird species and the big 4, which are widely spread all over the Savannah grasslands, grazing or hunting for prey. Exit the park and transfer back to Masaka with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch.
