Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kibale National Park
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you’ll be welcomed by your guide. After a brief introduction, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park (about 5-6 hours), famous for its lush rainforest and diverse wildlife. Along the way, enjoy views of Uganda’s rural landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax before your afternoon activities.
In the late afternoon, head to Bigodi Swamp, a unique wetland area known for its rich biodiversity. Enjoy a guided swamp walk, where you can spot a variety of bird species, primates, and other wildlife. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch before embarking on a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the views of the park’s stunning savannah and crater lakes. In the evening, unwind and prepare for tomorrow’s safari adventures.
Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and Uganda kob. Your guide will take you to key areas for the best sightings and photo opportunities.
Return to the lodge for lunch, and then embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (4-5 hours). Enjoy the scenic journey through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, local villages, and the lush Kigezi Highlands. The drive provides a glimpse of Uganda’s natural beauty and rural life.
Arrive in Bwindi, home to the endangered mountain gorillas, and check in at your lodge. Take some time to relax and soak in the serene environment of the forested hills. If time permits, you can enjoy a short walk around the area or visit a nearby community project.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi & Transfer to Kisoro
After an early breakfast, head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Bwindi is home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Your guide will lead you through the forest to find a habituated gorilla family, where you’ll have an hour to observe these magnificent creatures up close.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, transfer to Kisoro (1-2 hours’ drive), passing through scenic landscapes of the Virunga Mountains and terraced hills. Upon arrival in Kisoro, check in to your lodge and unwind with stunning views of the surrounding area.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga & Transfer to Kigali

Mgahinga is home to the rare and endangered golden monkeys, and after a briefing, you’ll embark on a trek through the lush forest to locate a troop. These playful and vibrant monkeys are known for their distinctive golden fur and lively behavior, making them a unique and rewarding sight. You’ll have an hour to observe them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the park base for a brief rest and lunch. In the afternoon, begin your scenic transfer to Kigali, Rwanda’s capital (approximately 4-5 hours). Along the way, enjoy the views of the Virunga Mountains and rolling hills that define Rwanda’s beautiful landscape.
