Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, your guide will meet you and drive you to Kibale Forest National Park, located in western Uganda. Enjoy a scenic drive, passing through Mubende and Fort Portal. Upon arrival in Kibale in the late afternoon, check into your lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Start your day early with breakfast, followed by chimpanzee trekking at Kanyanchu. This trek can take half a day, and you’ll have the chance to encounter other primates like golden monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, baboons, and more. Besides primates, the forest is home to forest elephants, giant forest hogs, and a variety of bird species.
After lunch, embark on a guided nature walk through Bigodi Swamp Sanctuary, renowned for its birdlife, including the Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
