Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Begin your adventure with a warm welcome from your experienced guide at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport. After a brief introduction and safari briefing, embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse wildlife park. Enjoy a scenic drive with a stop for lunch at the historic Masindi Hotel. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls, enjoy a game drive where you’ll spot a variety of wildlife, including impalas, elephants, lions, leopards, and an array of bird species such as bee-eaters.

After the game drive, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Start the day with an early breakfast, followed by a morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park. This drive offers incredible chances to view herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and perhaps even leopards and lions. The guide will also point out the park’s abundant birdlife, including the African Blue Flycatcher.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. The boat ride provides close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks, making it an unforgettable experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Nature Walk

After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale National Park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking. Led by experienced guides, you’ll trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees, and once located, you’ll spend an hour observing these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Along the way, keep an eye out for other wildlife such as bush pigs, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species.

After lunch, head to the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a nature walk. This walk offers additional opportunities to spot wildlife and birds while learning about the local ecosystem. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve renowned for its wildlife diversity. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, and you may spot wildlife such as Uganda kobs and waterbucks along the way. Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth, check into your lodge and have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you’ll have the chance to spot various species of wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Ride

You may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, and even leopards. The guide will also help you identify a wide variety of bird species that inhabit the park.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch, then take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This waterway connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is famous for its abundant wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birdlife such as flamingos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kampala

On the final day of your safari, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before starting your journey back to Kampala. On the drive, your guide will slow down to allow you to spot more wildlife along the way. Stop for lunch in the city and then continue to your destination, either to your hotel or Entebbe Airport for your departure.
