Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Equator – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your Uganda wildlife safari begins with a pick-up from your agreed location hotel or airport where our expert guide will welcome you. Embark on a scenic drive through the volcanic formations of the Western Rift Valley, heading towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you descend, enjoy a breathtaking panorama of Lakes George and Edward, set amidst game-filled plains. Along the way, stop at the Equator for photography and continue to Mbarara town for a delicious lunch. Afterward, resume your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you’ll have the option of a thrilling evening game drive, spotting wildlife like elephants, buffalo, and lions. As the day ends, check into your preferred accommodation and relax, ready for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Game drive- Launch trip along Kazinga channel
Wake-up and follow your adventure instincts on a sunrise game-drive. Queen Elizabeth national park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzori as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de fassa waterbuck, Uganda kob, topi and bush buck. The afternoon boat-cruise offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. You will be privileged to see schools of hippos and Nile-crocodiles sunbathing and opening wide their saw-like jaws. Return to your accommodation facility for overnight.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in kyambura section
After an early breakfast, check-out and transfer to kyambura section of Queen Elizabeth national park. This is a rare occasion for you to follow the path of evolution as you track “man’s closest cousins”; chimpanzees. Drive back to Kampala via kasese and fort-portal and drop you off at your residence / hotel in Kampala
