Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and transfer to your hotel near Lake Victoria
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with rhino tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary and visit to the top of the falls
Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on the Nile River
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park through scenic countryside

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide who will brief you about your journey. You will then be transferred to your hotel near Lake Victoria. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or take a short optional visit to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Enjoy the peaceful lakeside atmosphere and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will track rhinos on foot with the help of experienced rangers. After this unique experience, continue to the park with lunch en route. Upon arrival, visit the top of Murchison Falls where the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge and plunges down with great power. Later, proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive on the northern banks of the park. This is the best time to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelopes. After the game drive, return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the falls. During the cruise, you will see hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes, rural villages, and tea plantations. Enjoy views of the Albertine Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax as you prepare for the chimpanzee trekking experience the next day.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Guided by experienced rangers, walk through the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates. Once found, spend one hour observing their behavior. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk where you can spot birds, monkeys, and learn about the local community conservation efforts.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains along the way. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and later go for an evening game drive. Look out for elephants, warthogs, antelopes, and possibly predators as the day comes to an end. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you have chances of spotting lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and Uganda kobs. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This cruise offers excellent views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species along the shores.

Day 8: Ishasha Sector Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, drive to the Ishasha sector, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive as you search for these unique animals resting in fig trees. Afterward, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax while preparing for the gorilla trekking experience.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek through the dense forest. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once found, spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10: Batwa Cultural Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, visit the Batwa community where you will learn about their traditional forest lifestyle, culture, and history. This cultural experience provides insight into one of the oldest indigenous communities in the region. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most scenic lakes in Uganda. Spend the evening relaxing by the lake, enjoying the cool breeze and beautiful surroundings.

Day 11: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda
After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and cross the border into Rwanda. Continue to Volcanoes National Park, enjoying views of the rolling hills and terraced landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax for the evening as you prepare for the next day’s activity.

Day 12: Golden Monkey Trekking and Cultural Visit
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your golden monkey trekking experience. Walk through the bamboo forest in search of these playful primates and spend one hour observing them. In the afternoon, visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village where you will experience traditional Rwandan culture, including music, dance, and storytelling. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park. The drive offers beautiful views of Rwanda’s countryside, tea plantations, and rolling hills. Arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and spend the evening relaxing in preparation for the next day’s activities.

Day 14: Canopy Walk and Nature Walk in Nyungwe
After breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk in Nyungwe Forest, where you may spot monkeys, birds, and unique plant species. Later, experience the famous canopy walk, a suspended bridge high above the forest floor that offers stunning views of the rainforest. This activity provides a unique perspective of the forest and its wildlife. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 15: Transfer to Kigali and Departure
After breakfast, drive to Kigali City. Upon arrival, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and explore local markets for souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, you will then be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your safari.
