Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Lake Kivu (Rubavu)
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kigali to Rubavu, offering breathtaking views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and countryside. Along the way, you may enjoy a brief stop in Musanze, where you can admire the stunning backdrop of the Virunga volcanoes.
Upon arrival in Gisenyi, you will check in at your lodge and take time to relax. Later in the evening, visit the shores of Lake Kivu to unwind and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the lake.
