Game Drives in the Savannah

Game drives are one of the most rewarding ways to explore Murchison Falls National Park. The northern sector is especially rich in wildlife, with open savannah plains making it easier to spot animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and warthogs.

Early morning and late afternoon drives offer the best sightings, as predators and herbivores are most active during cooler hours. The Buligi and Albert Delta tracks are particularly popular for game viewing, offering a high chance of encountering large herds and big cats.

Boat Safari to the Bottom of Murchison Falls

A boat cruise along the Nile River is one of the park’s signature experiences. The journey takes you upstream toward the base of the mighty Murchison Falls, offering close views of river wildlife along the way.
